Instituto João Bittar is a training entity for young apprentices. We are the social branch of Bittar Neurociência, the sole private lab dedicated to research in neuroscience in Brazil.
We use research in neuroscience to develop our teaching methodologies and resources, which allows us to identify neurobehavioral profiles that guide our youth through the program. We also develop techniques for improving focus and attention, as well as more efficient methods for apprentice training and management.
Currently, Brazil and much of the world face a crisis related to the low professional qualification of our population. While companies struggle to find professionals who meet their needs in an efficient manner, part of that population has been struck with unemployment.
Part of the problem lies in the training of young apprentices. The existing methodologies are inadequate and insufficient, and that’s why Instituto João Bittar decided to develop new solutions to overcome this challenge.
Instituto João Bittar
Instituto João Bittar operates nationwide, which makes it easier for them to provide services for C&A stores that are located far from major centers and face challenges not only in hiring, but also in partnering with local organizations. Without a doubt, what sets them apart are the online courses they offer.
It’s been 8 years since we started working with Instituto João Bittar, when its team helped us implement a course related to abattoirs. Their support was essential for the success of the project, from assisting in the selection of young apprentices to tackling compliance issues. Even though I’ve partnered with other entities, in my opinion Instituto João Bittar is a reference in both service and execution. I believe what the organization excels most at is that service and its follow-up of processes, along with an effective communication with professionals in leadership roles.
Operating in over 800 cities across 21 states in Brazil, Instituto João Bittar helps us bring hope, opportunities, and support in fulfilling the dreams of hundreds of young people by making employability, education and training the link between the present and the future of a better and more diverse country. To Magazine Luiza, the aim of our young apprentice program goes beyond any legal obligations: it’s a means of promoting social transformation and bringing opportunities to all young people. We see the social change we hope to see in the coming years as a seed that must be planted and nurtured in the present. The motto of Instituto João Bittar matches what we aspire to for the future: transform lives so we can transform Brazil.
